I am having issues when importing a specific font. Not really sure where to start on searching for a solution.
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be?

The font type is Quicksand Bold.

Have you tried tweaking the intensity of the font? 
I guess it will be improved if you increase the intensity a bit.
I have, I wasn’t able to resolve the issue with it.
I had a look. If it was that issue reported in github it has since been resolved by them.
We ended up changing fonts to avoid the issue.
I’ve submitted a bug on our own repo about this issue to keep a general track of font related oddness.
