Is it possible to add a voice chat system to a playcanvas game???
Hi @Dylan_McDorman,
PlayCanvas being basically a regular HTMl/CSS/JS application running in a webpage supports out of the box any library or service that can run in a browser.
For voice chat you can search online for service providers that support it (e.g. voice chat in webpage);.
A good tech and low cost at the same time for small voice chat groups is WebRTC, you can search that as well.
Sorry, this is gonna sound rude, but I have absolutely NO idea what you just said.
good point, to answer your question in a simpler manner, yes, it’s fully possible to add voice chat to a playcanvas game.
Ok and to make sure I have it somewhat correct, I just have to find something that is a voice chat thingy and then yOInk the HTML out of that, and slAP it in playcanvas?
Now I have no idea what you said
What is “yOInk the HTML out of that, and slAP it”?
Lol, i meant i just need to use the html code out of a voice chat website and load it into playcanvas via a html code file in PC.
I imagine if you find such a simple voice chat service you may be lucky and add it that easily.
Ok, understood capin’, Thanks
Funny thread. But useful. Thanks
