SuperSplat Viewer Embed / Videos

Hello, I am using the superspl.at editor (and key frames) to edit/publish my splats and embed on my site. The issue we have is that embedding many splats on our landing page (where there are many items that have been splatted) is too memory intensive). So, we would like to create two files, a video file orbiting the main object in the splat to embed on our front page, and the actual splat file/embed viewer where you can actually navigate in the splat on individual item pages. Along with this, being able to set our own embed parameters, i.e. removing the play/settings/fullscreen buttons from the splat viewer or setting zoom in/out limitations would be nice. Is there anyway to achieve this using the PlayCanvas/Superspl.at ecosystem? Please advise, thanks!

Hi @Sergio_Lopez ,

We will be releasing video export in SuperSplat today, which you might find useful for creating the animation videos.

Also to mention that the experience supports &noui URL param to disable all UI (including the poster, so possibly not perfect for your case).

We also plan on adding support for annotations and camera restrictions, which I believe you will find useful.

However, we plan to open source the experience anyway. We’ll put this code in a github repo so you can grab that and customise it as you wish. Not sure exactly when, but hopefully within the next few weeks.

Having said that, I’m not really sure if it would be possible for you to provide your own experience application while hosting the files on superspl.at. So presumably you’d be happy host the files yourself? This is perhaps something to discuss with the team. cc @will

Thanks!

Perfect, excited to see that video export come out today/soon! Annotations and camera restrictions will most definitely be useful for us when it comes out.

The &noui parameter definitely helped our case, any other url params that are available (despite the ones that come in the default embed code)?

I will be sure to discuss with our team on self-hosting the files.

Thanks so much @slimbuck !
