Hi, I’ve published this scene on supersplat - navigating with the mouse and Miles wheel works fine but when I use A,S,D,W keys the camera shoots through the whole scene with one tap.
I’ve tried to reduce camera speed in the editor, couldn’t test the speed in the editor though because it only has mouse control. But even at 1.0 camera speed it is still super fast.
I also tried to change the scale of the scene, scaled it up 10 times but on the published scene, it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Camera is still way too fast.
PC users - would you let me know if you have the same problem inside the scene? I’m on a Mac M4 Pro.
Sorry @Buro_Achenbach, it seems you never received an answer on this. I see your splat is now deleted, but since you asked this, we changed how the fly speed is calculated. Now, it’s based on real world units, where default speed is fixed to 4m/s (so it requires you to scale your splat properly before you publish). See this PR for that change from September:
Thank you Will,
I tested my previous splats (at correct scale) and they seem to work fine now - the ones I deleted were Upscaled by 100 or even 1000 to se if that would influence the speed.
