@will can we please get a detailed blog post on the matter (day of outage):
- Why this have happened.
- What has been done to mitigate it.
- What will be done to ensure this does not happen again.

i’m just curious - why do you want to know this?
As a paying customer, I’d like to know the answers to these questions too. I’d like some reassurance that Playcanvas is a reliable service and product that I should continue to use, and being forthcoming about what the issue was and what steps are being taken to prevent it from recurring would be helpful.

Status update: we have spent a couple of days putting a document together with the results of our investigation into the incident. The next step is to share this with AWS to better pinpoint the trigger for what followed (it wasn’t in response to anything we did). Once we have all the facts, we are keen to share them with the community. But I just wanted to make it clear that this won’t happen overnight. We need some time to do this work and not jump to conclusions prematurely or report back with an incomplete set of facts. We’ll report back when we have more to share.

Really hope that an offline version of PlayCanvas will be made available in the future, even if it is paid and limited to older versions. Thank you
