[SOLVED] Input not functioning

I’m trying to get an alert to show up when the number 1 in the game is clicked. I have followed the input instructions in the manual and API reference, but it is not working. Please help.

A couple of problems:

• The elements need to be children under an entity that has the Screen component to ‘work’ properly. (See tutorial: https://developer.playcanvas.com/en/tutorials/ui-elements-buttons/)
• You are adding a callback every frame in the update call. Add the callbacks in the initialize function instead
