I need to cast light on a model uniformly on the whole surface. However it seems that none of the lights can do this. I want a light that hits the model from all directions.
hmm, sounds like the ambient light from Settings->Rendering does it? That’s a constant light added to every pixel, so in a way a brightness. Is that what you’re after?
Otherwise, you can generate lighting cubemap and use that as the lighting. See here Image Based Lighting | Learn PlayCanvas
