I can relate to that from my own projects, but usually, after a while, I manage to continue.
What improvements and additions are you planning?
Obviously looting and some shop system to upgrade, customize ships, I have the idea that, give player a pirate clan to build and manage by pirating the world these are big plans and already game is little expensive computationally, even tho every cannon ball every chain shot, every NPC is pooled, don’t know I can squeeze these in to game.
