Performance Spike on Mac pro

Hello everybody,

I am using Apple mac pro with the following specs:

When I run my game :

The CPU utilization goes to 75 to 80% and the fans starting blowing hot air. I have optimized the game as much as possible. If further optimizations are possible please suggest me.


PS: I would appreciate if anyone can test on their mac pro and post the CPU utilization screenshot.

It’s possible it due to the retina display? Try disabling Pixel Device Ratio in the project settings.

The quality doesn’t seem good if I disable device pixel ratio, what can be done to balance the pixel ratio with performance?

Does the CPU usage drop when you disable Device Pixel Ratio first? This is to check if it’s a rendering bottleneck.
