Hello! I am working on a project that requires a multi line text input. Unfortunately, Playcanvas does not offer that and trying to use a text area html element behaves strangely. Do any of you happen to have advice on the matter?
Hi, how about using html css input field? If you can give a little overview I can suggest or can share hmtl CSS input if fits best for your case?
I tried that, and it works when I open the user interface but whenever I try and close it there is a 5 second delay.

Works pretty fast for me
My laptop’s battery died. That’s why video is not uploaded. But was working pretty fast.
Also you can render input field exactly on top of UI elements
The issue is still occuring on my machine so I’m just going to pretend it doesn’t exist and just make the user interface be always open.

BTW what are your machine’s specifications?

I have Dell G15 8GB 2060 Ti
That’s why may be no lag
