Lumberyard, Twitch and PlayCanvas

Hello, i don’t know if this can be useful to playcanvas, i have found twitch on amazon that seems to allow multiplayer and in game chat but don’t know if it can be used on playcanvas, so i just wanted to point it out if someone want to read more.

Not sure what you mean by that Twitching allowing multiplayer and in game chat?

I know that a few games have Twitch games have Twitch Chat integration that allow the viewers of the stream to affect the game on screen which is pretty straight forward to do (Twitch Chat is just IRC and there are a few JS libraries available).

Not sure what i mean myself lol I just found the twitch page on amazon that seems to be meant my multiplayer games, and thought that it could be used on playcavas since there are also nodes. I have started reading here https://aws.amazon.com/it/lumberyard/ and after here https://aws.amazon.com/it/lumberyard/details/#build-live-multiplayer-features-in-minutes and here https://aws.amazon.com/it/gamedev/

That’s talking about using Amazon cloud services as the backend for multiplayer games. Lumberyard is Amazon’s game engine package/tools and has all the Amazon cloud services and Twitch services fully integrated.

In a nutshell, yes you can use all the Amazon services with PlayCanvas as Amazon’s services were designed to be used as a ‘generic’ cloud service.

Ok sorry if i have made a little confusion
