Lightmapping does not work

I have a scene where I try to setup lightmapping. I prepared the models with additional UVs for lightmapping, but the lightmapping is breaking, both in editor and in play mode. I cannot figure out why. It kind of cannot get the shadow camera renderTarget.


Found the problem, in the project settings, rendering tab, “Shadows enabled” was unticked. Enabling it fixed the problem.

Are you able to create a simple repro for the problem? I’d be keen to fix it, thanks.

cannot share this very project as it is under NDA. However, the repro is extremely simple, just untick Shadows Enabled in the Settings/Rendering, and then enable lightmapping in the editor. It will throw the error on the first screen. The same error would happen in the play mode.

No matter how simple a repro is, it will always help. I cannot reproduce your steps in a blank project. Please, create a repro.
