Hi there.
I want to display a GSplat that I upload from my own storage.
I am faking object shadow with a an opacityMap on a horizontal plane.
I am using blending mode = Normal and no Depth writing.
Unfortunately, from some angles, sorting between the plane and the GSplat seems to fail as illustrated in the attached video.
Notes:
- I have tried introducing a new layer called Background and adding it at the top in the render order list (before World-opacity). But when I attach the shadow plane to this new layer, the shadow plane does not appear anymore.
- I also tried to attach the gsplat component to the UI layer to be drawn after the plane. Did not work
Has anybody seen this kind of problem before?
UPDATE:
Problem solved! I finally understood how to deal with the layers correctly.
Don’t forget to add the new layer to your camera!
Thank you in advance
Pierre
