I want to use lightmapping on some meshes which require TEXCOORD_1 (or UV1). Is there an easy way to force this onto an imported model?
If not, what is the easiest way to add this?

Not currently. There was a way to add this to json models in the past, but we don’t have support for adding those to gbl, even though @slimbuck had that almost working in the past.
You’d need to unwrap your models in Blender and similar, and have the UV1 included in the glb.
