I’m currently exploring how scripting tools differ across platforms. While PlayCanvas is fantastic for structured JS development, I’ve been comparing it to more platform-specific scripting environments especially in UGC-heavy platforms like Roblox.
I found it interesting how some tools prioritize ease-of-use for players with minimal dev experience, while PlayCanvas leans more toward structured, production-level workflows.
Curious has anyone here worked on projects in both environments (PlayCanvas & Roblox)? Or explored scripting toolchains outside of PlayCanvas?
