Hi just deployed a patch to update our index for project listing - please let me know if this has fixed your issue 
It is faster, but unfortunatelly still much slower than it was always before

For me, it’s still loading projects list extremely slowly in the VSCode extension

We are currently working on a follow up investigation
Today project requests are back to ~100ms, now it works correctly both in Web and in the VS Code
