[FIXED] Error forking my project

We are unable to fork the projects

@KPal

We are still unable to fork our projects, this is affecting our production process. Is there any news on this?

@KPal

Hi! Could you add me your project to take a look please username: kpal

THERE SEEMS TO BE A SOLUTION NOW

Now try forking again, and you receive the following message:

Error: Asset “water laguna pedazos” (ID 304608136): data.reflectivity: Must be at most 8. Asset “water laguna” (ID 304608131): data.reflectivity: Must be at most 8. Correct this in the source project and retry. For imports, export again; if you only have the archive, contact support.

I looked for those assets; both had the reflection set to 8. What I did was lower it to 6, and then it let me fork.

They weren’t more than 8, they were exactly at 8, which is the maximum allowed. So, there’s some error in the editor; when you enter 8, it interprets it as more than 8.

I will continue testing in other projects

I recently added in some better error handling for project importing and project forking to show why there is an error. I have been hardening our schema to make sure its being followed so glad to see that showing the errors are helping :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, in my case it solved the problem in two projects. I’ll continue with others and let you know if there are any issues.

Thanks for this solution.
