when i press the W A S D keys the character doesn’t move
Welcome @Katie_drake! Without information it’s very difficult to find out what is going wrong. Try to describe how you have set up the project. You can also add photos or a link to your project.
i have made a capsule with a camera and added a script
and pasted the movement code into the script
I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature, but it seems you have to click the mouse first for the keys to work properly. Have you tried that? Otherwise you can add me to the project so I can take a look, or you can share a link.

The problem was that you didn’t save the changes you made to the script. You can save changes by pressing CTRL + S or CMD +S.
