Editor v2.34 is out.
The headline is the Inspector: a new, open-source debug panel you can launch your app with. Tick Inspector in the Launch menu and your running app opens with it docked alongside - live hierarchy and components, pause and frame-step, pick from the viewport, and draw the physics world. Needs Engine 2.23 or later.
Also in this release:
- Gravity Scale - a per-body gravity multiplier on dynamic rigidbodies. 1 is normal, 0 ignores gravity, -1 reverses it.
- Splat Budget Mode - Target / Limit in Rendering settings, with LOD Base Distance and LOD Multiplier back on the GSplat component (partly reversing the 2.32 LOD change).
- Particle Use Fog / Use Tonemapping - let particle systems opt out of scene fog or tonemapping.
- Discard All (2.33) - roll a branch back to its last checkpoint, with a safety checkpoint taken first.
- Plus Material UV channels 2-7, a GLSL shader transpilation setting for WebGPU, and Antigravity IDE as an external editor.
Two caveats: the Inspector needs Engine 2.23 or later (older engines log a warning and carry on), and splat LOD only does anything on streamed SOG octrees.
