Hi, I hope you are doing wll. I’m having this litle problem on the quality.
On the screen cap i’m attaching Is the same PLY loaded, trained on different softs and Im getting this quality looking a bit lower. It happens to me with every splat. This happened to me since the first supersplat editor version, and now i’m in serious work with 3dgs i would like to have some enlightment here =P
Any clue? Thanks!
Hi @Diego_EV - this is interesting.
I assume you load the original ply file to supersplat, and not a compressed version nor a sog file? Just to avoid the compression lowering quality.
Are you training in Postshot with AA enabled or disabled?
@slimbuck for visibility
Hi, thanks!
No filter, and no compression.
The resultant PLY is the one that is being loaded and the difference shows.
If you want to try the file, but happens with every ply i load. (Compared to postshot) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qxIugOL1DYjk4h39Sjc9KAOcuk5DvRkl/view?usp=sharing
Thanks for your help!
we’ll test it tomorrow, thanks!
Hi @Diego_EV ,
What specifically is the issue you’re seeing?
When I load the file into SS editor it looks similar to the screenshots above.
Have you tried loading the PLY back into postshot/lichfeld?
If you’re seeing a coloring issue it’s possible spherical harmonics are being rotated and blurred/altered during export.
Thanks!
