Designer open source?

Hi everyone, I am relatively new to this community and I’m loving everything about it so far!

After spending some time searching around here for any links to the designer source code, I came up empty handed. I’m just wondering if there are any plans to make the designer open source, or at least the script editor? I’d love to contribute to it if possible, thanks.

So the PlayCanvas Editor is not open source. It is the engine - the runtime on which your game runs - that is open source. However, the PlayCanvas Script Editor is open source. It’s ACE.
