Try to remove the current Capsule entity first and then drag the template with the name Character Controller (pane icon) into your scene.

what do you mean by

drag the template with the name Character Controller (pane icon) into your scene.

There is a template asset (pane icon) with the name ‘Character Controller’ on your asset panel (bottom center of the screen). You need to add this template to your scene hierarchy (left side of the screen).

when i hold and drag it, it doesnt go into it, is there a way i could get you to do it for me?

Sorry, I forget what is the correct way and I am in mobile right now. Please try to drag and drop it into your scene itself.

I just asked the team and it should work on both ways, so I’m not sure why it doesn’t work for you.

i work on a chromebook/laptop and when i drag it, it just stays where it was

I’m not sure what could be te reason it doesn’t work on a Chromebook. Can you show or tell the exact steps how you do it?

1.i click and hold onto the first person movement
2.I then drag it into the area with the camera, light etc
3.i let go but then it hasnt moved places and it stays with the scripts, ammo etc

Step 1 is not correct. The name of the asset should not be ‘First Person Movement’. Please check my image above for the correct asset.

i meant that asset

Alright, then I don’t know unfortunately.

Do you have an idea what can be the problem here @yaustar?

Works for me in a fork of your project:

how do i send videos?

when i try to send videos, it says
Sorry, the video you tried to upload is not authorized

A video has to have the allowed format and size.

Below an alternative method to add a template to your scene.

https://developer.playcanvas.com/en/user-manual/templates/#adding-templates-in-your-scene

no i meant when i try to send a video like what @yaustar did it says it wont let me

Yes, I replied on that.

Does this work for you?
