I’ve had this issue today 2 times. I open another tab and my PlayCanvas editor tab is deactivated for a long time then I open/activate/select the tab and it syncs its thing then I refresh the page and see that all my animations are gone.
This happened again also

Unfortunately, the current workaround while we investigate is to not have the entity selected which isn’t great 
If the editor gets deactivated I think it is okay to refresh the page once it gets activated as it does for switching branches, so it could be more robust. Defining animations over and over again is not ideal IMHO.
