Windows Mixed Reality motion controller usage not easily discoverable

Looking at the WebVR support in the following links:

Windows Motion Controllers are drawn at the correct position, but due to the shape of the controllers, the comfortable targeting ray should be offset approx 30 degrees downwards. Without this, users of Windows Mixed Reality headsets don’t discover the teleportion feature because it requires an uncomfortable angle to hold your hand to point at the floor.

That’s annoying. You would have to identify the controllers by id (IIRC, there should be a name/description in the gamepad API) and adjust the ray as appropriate.

Yep, agreed. The WebVR Community Group is working on an improved design in WebVR 2.0, but in the meanwhile…
