[SOLVED] Variable issue, how to find the error

Found the crack point
var existingFloor = this.app.root.find(“getName”, “Floor”);
tomorrow will look into it, too tired now :stuck_out_tongue:

This is strange about my movement issue, if i reduce to icon the browser and open it again the issue vanish …perplexed

It seems like the issue mainly occurs on your device, maybe because it’s a bit less powerful than my device. Optimizing your project should probably solve the issue.

Yes thank you, but it’s not a big problem for now, the main problem is the entrance in the dungeon that doesn’t work, i spent all the day tracking the error and nothing came out. After entering the dungeon everything seem to works fine but i get a black screen with no dungeon and no character…so frustrating. Also chatgpt told me to go out and play football. lol

Ok my problem has transformed, once i enter the dungeon, everything is created fine, but the camera show nothing, black. I thought the Player entity could be disabled so i put this.Player.enabled=true; but don’t change anything. I say that everything works coz the enemies, that i can’t see, can kill the player, so the player doesn’t fall in emptiness, The player entity has 2 child cameras, both return a black screen. I’m at a loss

My experience with black screens is usually due to accidentally using a NaN or undefined value to set a position, rotation, or something similar.

Uhm i see, but i have exxperienced somthing really strange, after posting that earlier, i opened the browser with the game that was left in standby, and everything was working the black screen vanished. So i tryed to run it again to see if it was the same problem i have on slow walking, but that was not the case. So i think your guess abut a NaN may be the issue. I will check that. Thanks.

I think i’m masochist, since i wasn’t able to find the black creen issue, i got the amazing idea to update from engine 1.7 to 2… :sob:

Switching to V.2 and some other minor adjustment everything fell in place
