Safari browser on Macbook does not block or hide the pointer

This method doesn’t work. The cursor stay unlocked and visible.

The example works fine here:

Hm…

We use
os 13.2.1
safari 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6)
and here is the problem with the pointer

Mac OS 12.6.3
Safari Version 16.3 (17614.4.6.11.4, 17614)

Also tested on Ventura too via browser stack
