We do not currently have access to the original file unfortunately, we only had it during the initial demo set up.

Itā€™s kinda funny that Microsoft bought GitHub and now they donā€™t even publish this as open source, which basically makes it impossible to share fixesā€¦

We have access to the repo but theyā€™ve chosen to not enable the issues feature so canā€™t submit bugsā€¦

Iā€™ve just reached out to our Microsoft contacts here to see if thereā€™s some way to get support from them, fingers crossed there is some.

Just FYI, Iā€™ve contacted Dimension Studios as they are MS MRCS partners to check if the .hcap format is still their recommended solution for web playback going forwards.

We visited their London studios last year and they are a great bunch of people.

Got this message back from Dimension Studio:

So, we are still operating using the MSFT volcap stack. We have commitments in the new year and are not seeing any disruption to our ability to shoot.

We expect that the old MSFT volumetric stack will reappear under a new banner.
