we are exporting 3D models as fbx with materials / textures from Maya to PlayCanvas. The materials are randomly swapped / changed on import in PlayCanvas. For example we created a simple test mesh and set a material with a different color to each side in Maya. The materials are assigned randomly when we import the fbx in PlayCanvas. When we import the mesh multiple times we get different results every import.

Are we missing something or are we doing something wrong or is this a bug? This is our first project with PlayCanvas.
