Max, I am an artist trying to make the case for Play Canvas use, is there an example shader for this LDR shader chunks I can pass onto one of our devs?

Shader programming requires GLSL language skills and some engine development abilities. You would need to find someone from your team to do it. Forum has many examples of customizing shader chunks of StandardMaterial system.
