About Animated Textures case

I need a new version of Animated Textures example.Now the old example cannot be edited.

No more support for animated-texture.js? Workaround?

I’ve been away for a few months and am embarking now on a big new project and finding a lot of changes have been implemented. Currently, I am trying to use a tiled texture to create animated fire with “animated-texture.js” (I did this in previous projects to good effect) but it doesn’t seem to work, and the sample tutorial for that effect seems to be removed. Does that technique no longer work? What’s the workaround?
