"Send me an email for every new post" should not be on by default

I signed up for a forum account last night, and woke up to 50+ emails in my inbox from a bunch of topics I never subscribed to or commented in. I looked in my user prefrences and found this setting:

Send me an email for every new post (unless I mute the topic or category)

is enabled by default. That seems crazy!

Oops, I’m not sure how that ended up being the default. I’ve updated it so that isn’t enabled by default!
