Anti-Lag with a lot of entities

Hello. I need to have lots of entities in the game at one time for an MMORPG, but I don’t want heavy lag. How do I make it to where I have hundreds of entities in game, but alot less lag?

Don’t take my word for it, but a lot of times, in my games, it lags less if you DON’T copy and paste…the more it has to copy the more lag i get(from my experiences)

I have heard that. Does duplicating entities in the hierarchy count? I have done alot of that.

Duplicating is not as bad…but for my maze, I was going to make a straight corridor, and copy that all over…it couldn’t even handle copying 18 objects at once…but duplicating should be ok

Ok, but it seems as if that is not what I meant. I meant on gameplay, not in the editor.

That’s what I’m talking about two…whenever I would copy the entity, the launch would get more and more laggy

Yes, 5 of anything at once could be bad, especially Creepers. I don’t intend to do that though, once at a time for iPad.
